We will no longer make appeals to capitalist politicians,
we, the workers, will make them directly to the people.
We need to mobilize as many people as possible,
no work, no school, for one week in order to shut down the economy until our demands are met.
We’re all way too broke to be worrying about whats going to happen in 10 years.
- 73% of millennials are living paycheck to paycheck
- We can’t afford to buy homes, or are struggling to keep up with our rent and mortgages.
- The US has suffered a record 23 billion-dollar plus climate disasters in 2023 as tornadoes, wildfires and flooding ravaged the nation. Big home insurers are slowly removing natural disasters from their policies as climate catastrophes intensify 4. So even when, after these strikes, we maybe make enough money to buy a home. How long till a flood or fire takes it all away?
THE SYSTEM NO LONGER WORKS FOR THE PEOPLE AND PLANET. IT’S TIME FOR SOMETHING ELSE!
Our objective is to inspire, unite and connect labor unions, climate organizations, student bodies, and social justice organizations along with the general public to instigate an era of general strikes to confront the elephant in the room: capitalism. We fight for what should move forward, 'A better life' and taking back the power and means of production for labor, by identifying key industries' CEO's, Board Members and their political lapdogs that have prevented that 'American Dream' for the rest of us.
In the Demand for Resignations, communities identify these levers of power who control our local governing and economic bodies and through a series of mass organic movements collectively bringing their demands to the public consciousness.
Nationally, we demand that any politician who has taken money from AIPAC, fossil fuels, and weapons manufacturers immediately resign.
